I forgot to post this last month on our trip to see TJ for his birthday. Daniel and TJ were playing soccer in the hallway. It cracked me up. Of course, I forgot to turn the camera and when I tried to tape him again the right way, he didn't do it right...he was trying to give me extra for the camera. That little ham! So, cock your head to the left and enjoy TJ and all of his mad skills!

Monogrammed Soap

So, this summer, as we were traveling across the country, we stopped to see my old friend, Robin. Robin and I have known each other since the 3rd grade. She got my mail in her mailbox. Why I remember how we met, I've no idea. Anyway, while we were visiting with her and her youngest daughter, Ella Mae, I admired her beautiful monogrammed soap. She said she had gotten it as a wedding gift. I loved it! What a trivial, simple, outrageously expensive gift but I just loved it.

Fast forward a couple weeks when we got home. All of a sudden, the soap below appears on my bathroom counter. Alyx made it for me. How great is this?! She really does love me! (notice the brand name...hehe)

She even monogrammed some soap for a houseguest, Art, who came to visit a few weeks ago. It's said, "Art's Soap." Maybe if you come to visit, she'll make some for you!

Fast forward to Christmas: Robin had houseguests and someone used the soap!!! Devastating...needless to say, she hides the good soap when Bill visits. :o)

Our Trip to Miami

My hubby was at an air expo last weekend and they took some really great pics of him flying. They chose one for their website's desktop calendar. Pretty cool!
